Start Together

Who? Chris Tamarri and Matt Buckley.

What? Wednesday Week. A(nother) comics blog, sometimes by Chris, sometimes by Matt, sometimes by both.

Where? Um. Here.

When? Throughout the week. Two, three, four times. Whenever we've got something to say worth saying.

Why? Not to be too idealistic about it, but comics can make things better. They can make you learn, and care, and notice. They don't, more often than not, but they could. Wednesday Week is about calling comics out for ignorance and indifference, for failing to meet their potential, and for acknowledging whenever they get it right. Comics are for everybody. Or: They're not, really. They're not, but they could be.

I would be interested in being a casual commenter, but seeing as I can't seem to do more than two things at once (currently teacher, assistant newspaper guy, and trying to help get a GSA off the ground) I might not be much help. The fact that my reading of these fine learning tools stopped as soon as the guy on the couch moved out may also prove to be a hindrance. I will at the very least be checking in to see what I should be reading while I am waiting for my books to come out in trade. I will be watching…transmission out.
